Jax Cooks Author Tour 2012
We have had great events with Jax this month at the
Langham Hotel, Auckland,
The Women's Bookshop, Marbecks in Palmerston North, PaperPlus Masterton (with the fabulous Russell and Sue) and
PaperPlus Lower Hutt.
Jax has also been busy at the
Ellerslie Flower Show, with Brett McGregor and the Countdown team, and
WOMAD in New Plymouth. Phew! This week and next, she is back in the south, with Christchurch events, and then a tour through Timaru, Oamaru and Dunedin. She'll be calling in on as many stores as she can along the way, so look out for signed copies.
Thursday 22 March, Christchurch
Come and meet Jax at The Press Literary Liaison event, hosted by
Zest editor Kate Fraser. Kate and Jax will talk about the book and invite questions from the floor. Bubbles and juice will be served, with nibbles using Jax's recipes from the book.

Another great instore event with Jax, this time at Ballantynes in Timaru.
Wednesday 28 March, Oamaru
A superb event with PaperPlus Oamaru and Waitaki Girls High School to promote the book and fund raise for the WGHS PTA. Jax will be talking about her life story and her love of food and will be signing copies.

Tickets $15, includes wine or juice on entry, and supper

Thursday 29 March, Dunedin
Enjoy a wonderful evening event with Marbecks Dunedin and Jax Hamilton to launch her much-awaited first book. Includes delicious canapes. $5 from every ticket will be donated to Otago Community Hospice.
